Seven Miles! Matt Chandler (Happy Resurrection Day)

Happy Resurrection Day beloved! I hope the reality of His resurrection shocks, engulfs, and spurns you into deeper wells of worship this Lord’s Day. Let’s take our eyes off the colored eggs filled with heart stopping sugars, and fix the eyes of our heart on the wonder and beauty of the risen King.

Now I would remind you, brothers, of the gospel I preached to you, which you received, in which you stand, and by which you are being saved, if you hold fast to the word I preached to you— unless you believed in vain.

For I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received: that Christ died for our sins in accordance with the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day in accordance with the Scriptures (1 Corinthians 15:1-4)

  1. May your joy be great on this amazing day when Our Savior arose from the grave! Rejoice with humility and grace!
    Blessings Randy and family

  2. Great! Great video! Never thought of that… the things we skim over in the Bible… crazy…

  3. Happy Resurrection Day! Christ is Risen! Had a great sermon in church today. It is amazing how much we take the resurrection for granted. Spent most of the rest of the day with loving family.

  4. Wow…I don’t know what to think. I want to share this on my Youth Group’s Facebook page but I’m a little shaken by it myself. Thank you for sharing and He is Risen, indeed!

  5. Didn’t watch till today. Awesome video! Love the challenge to believe the impossible it conveys. We often namby-pamby our way through “witnessing,” when actually we have a concept of Resurrection Power that is worth believing in!!!

  6. Sorry I’m late to the game. This past Holy week has been very busy for me. Since I work for a museum I don’t get holidays off. However I did manage to get to Easter Service at St. Ignatious Loyola near my workplace. Hope you had a great Easter. One good thing is that I’m on time for the Orthodox Easter which is tomorrow. Happy Easter to all my Orthodox Christian friends. I’m especially thinking of my very good friend Ivan who is a follower of the Bulgarian Orthodox church. Love you Brother Ivan!
